Dr. Kelley Garner is a Venice, FL native where he currently resides with his wife and four children. He grew up under the late Dr. Terry Garner where he was immersed in the veterinary field since his youth, in many ways until inevitably earning his D.V.M. Dr. Kelley completed his doctorate program at St. Matthew’s University and University of Georgia where he involved himself in leadership programs for personal and professional development. He was the President of the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Treasurer of the Zoological Exotic Wildlife Club, Teacher Assistant for Anatomy as well as Beginning and Advanced Surgical courses. He was a participant in major studies conducted on Grand Cayman including Marine Research Club, Coral Reef and Stingray studies led by Guy Harvey Research Institute, and The Iguana Sterilization project in conjunction with Colorado State College of Veterinary Medicine. His passion for medicine, philanthropy, and service allowed him to secure a highly coveted clinical residency at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, he is in good standing with the Florida Medical Veterinary Association. Dr. Garner is proud to continue his passion for his patients and clients at Jacaranda Animal Hospital.
